Everyone’s so geared up for 2020 hoping it will be an amazing year. Let’s wait for a minute and reflect, how was 2019? Individually we all may have had triumphs and tragedys for some of us this could’ve been the best year of our lives. But let’s think about all of us and our home. In 2019 climate change has been brutal. The Antarctic has now been awaken as the ice sheets are now slowly slipping away, a couple days back the lowest temperature in Antarctica was -24 and the lowest in Skardu, Pakistan was -21. The Himalayan range is vanishing. And if all of this still doesn’t concern you 60% of the worlds wild coffee is under extinction, so intake of coffee will be reduced as it won’t be easily accessible anymore. In addition to this the past 5 years have been the warmest since the 1800’s. Finally sorry to break it to you but there is a 99.999999% chance that humans are the cause of global warming. So this year let’s not only focus on making it an amazing year for ourselves but for our Earth our home! So we can see many more beautiful sunsets and take many more long walks in parks, most importantly we can live to the age to sit and tell the next generation how we contributed to making the Earth a better place to live in.
