Living in Karachi and seeing this kind of stuff is ridiculous!! Not only Karachi but every city that’s in the top ten. Humans are as much of a burden to the earth as an asset. We could be slowly killing our earth or we could be saving it, we need to take a stand because it’s everyone’s right to breath fresh air. On my own street a couple houses before mine I saw someone had started a fire on an empty plot to “get rid of mosquitoes” so you’d rather breath in hazardous air then let put on insect repellent. I told my helper to find out who’s house it was coming from and I will be talking to them about this. Because this just isn’t acceptable it’s good to be number one but not in these kind of things. If we aren’t going to take a stand and do something then who will? We are too focused on building more companies to flourish economically, we care too much about our health so we start fires. We need to be the change we want to see, we can’t keep sitting around waiting for someone to do something. Take the initiative, even if it’s a small effort at least you’ll know that you were a small part of fixing the Earth. Try your best to reuse, recycle and reduce.
