During these uncertain times many of us have turn to single-use plastic. Such as; masks, gloves, disinfectant bottles and soap packaging. In the Mediterranean ocean gloves, masks and sanitizer bottles were found. These weren’t found in large amounts but many fear this could turn into a big water pollution issue. We must make sure we dispose all our waste properly and in a place knowing that it won’t end up in our oceans. Masks can be used for a few days if they are kept in a sanitary environment. When disposing, search up the proper manner to dispose your mask and other plastics as in many places some people are taking thrown away masks fixing them and selling them. Make sure you dispose your masks properly and not buy them from unreliable people as used masks can be very unsanitary.
